Terroir Notes: Naked Red comes from both sides of Lake Neusiedl. To the west, from the slopes of the Leitha Mountains, where the vines grow on limestone and slate. To the east, from the gravelly Parndorf Plateau and the humus-rich heathland soil. Organic cultivation.

Winemaker Notes: Hand-picked from late August to mid-September, spontaneous fermentation, two weeks of maceration in wooden vats and then in stainless steel tanks on the skins aged for over a year in wooden vats.

Tasting Notes: Simple, original, unadulterated, and pure. The red-fruited yet vibrant character of Naked Red celebrates the lightness of wine and sheds any resistance to drinking and, with its unpretentious straightforwardness and heartfelt honesty, is best described in two words. These words apply both individually and together: Seriously uncomplicated.
